Yad Otefet (“the company”, “we”) respects the privacy of users of the yadotefet.com website (“the site”). This document describes what details we collect, how we use them, to whom they may be disclosed, and what your rights are.

1. Information we collect

We collect information that you give us voluntarily, including when you complete a contact form on the site:

  • First name and surname
  • Phone number
  • Email address (optional)
  • The subject of your enquiry and the content of the message you sent

In addition, the site may automatically collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers and the time of your visit — for security and statistical analysis purposes.

There is no legal obligation to provide this information

You provide the information of your own free will and you are under no legal duty to provide it. However, without basic contact details we will not be able to get back to you and look into your enquiry.

2. Sensitive information and medical information

Given the nature of the service we provide, you may choose to share information with us about a medical or psychological condition. Such information is defined in law as “sensitive information” and we treat it accordingly.

We recommend that you do not send medical documents or detailed medical information through the site form. For a first enquiry, contact details and a general description are enough; a representative on our behalf will guide you on how to transfer sensitive information securely, and only to the extent actually required to handle your enquiry.

3. The purposes for which the information is used

The information collected is used only for the following purposes:

  • Getting back to you about your enquiry and providing an initial consultation
  • Managing the professional relationship and providing the requested service
  • Improving the service and notifying you of relevant changes (with consent only)
  • Meeting the legal obligations that apply to us

4. Retention and security of the information

We take reasonable security measures to protect the personal information you have provided, and the information is transmitted over an encrypted connection (SSL). We will not sell, rent or transfer your details to any third party, except in the following cases:

  • With your express consent
  • As required by law or by court order
  • To service providers acting solely on our behalf (such as form, mailing and hosting services), subject to an undertaking of confidentiality and of use only for the purpose for which the information was provided

It is important to note that the transmission of information over the internet cannot be absolutely secure. We act to secure the information in accordance with the law and the procedures that apply to us, but we cannot guarantee absolute immunity from intrusion or misuse.

5. Transfer of information outside Israel

Some of the service providers we use to operate the site — including the form service and the measurement tools listed below — operate servers outside Israel, mainly in the United States and the European Union. This means that the information provided may be processed and stored outside the country, subject to those providers’ confidentiality and security undertakings and to the applicable law.

6. How long we keep the information

The information is kept for the period required to provide the service and for no longer than 7 years, in accordance with legal requirements and record-keeping obligations. After that the information is deleted or anonymised. You may request earlier deletion, subject to legal constraints (see section 9).

7. Cookies and measurement tools

The site uses basic technical cookies so that it functions correctly, and statistical measurement tools — Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity — to understand how the site is used and to improve the browsing experience, including analysis of browsing activity and heat maps.

On the dedicated landing pages that visitors reach from paid advertisements, a Meta (Facebook/Instagram) pixel also operates. It reports to Meta that the page was viewed and that an enquiry form was submitted, in order to measure and improve the effectiveness of the advertising. Meta may also use this information to tailor advertisements (remarketing), in accordance with its own privacy policy. The pixel does not pass to Meta the content of the fields you filled in — not your name, not your phone number and not any medical details.

These tools are not used by us to identify visitors personally, and information typed into form fields is masked from them. That said, data such as an IP address and online identifiers may be considered personal information in certain circumstances. As set out above, advertising cookies are used on the paid landing pages in order to measure campaigns and tailor advertisements. You can limit this use in the advertising settings of your Meta account, or by blocking third-party cookies in your browser.

You are not obliged to allow cookies — you can block them in your browser settings, although some functions may then not work properly.

8. WhatsApp links and contact through external channels

The site contains links for contacting us on WhatsApp. Contact through that channel is also subject to the terms of use and privacy policy of the service operator, for which we are not responsible. Do not send medical documents through that channel.

9. Your rights

Under the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, including Amendment 13, you have the following rights:

  • To inspect the personal information held about you
  • To request correction of information that is incorrect, incomplete or out of date
  • To request deletion of the information (subject to legal constraints and retention obligations)
  • To object to the use of the information for marketing purposes and to ask to be removed from a mailing list
  • To withdraw a consent you have given, without affecting any lawful use made before then

To exercise your rights, contact us in writing at: office@yadotefet.com. We will endeavour to respond within a reasonable time. If you believe your rights have been infringed, you may also apply to the Privacy Protection Authority.

10. Links to external sites

The site may contain links to external sites (such as the National Insurance Institute or WhatsApp). We are not responsible for the privacy policies of those sites.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. A material update will be published on this page with the date of the change. Continued use of the site after a change is published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
